Ritu Naiya asked:

One of the most revered and a famous temple of India is the Dakshineshwar Kali temple in the Hoogli district on the banks of the sacred Ganges. This temple rose to fame with its association with the greatest spiritual masters of all times. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

The temple which is a century and a half old was originally founded by the renowned queen of Janbazar Rani Rasmani in 1847. The queen had made all arrangements to go to Banaras and install an edifice devoted to exalted purposes of the divine mother. However the same night the wealthy widow dreamed the Divine Mother, in the form of the goddess Kali.

She appeared to the Rani in a dream and said, “There is not need to go to Banaras. Install my statue in a beautiful temple on the banks of the Ganges River and arrange for my worship there. Then I shall manifest myself in the image and accept the unquestionable and uncritical love of my ardent followers at that place.”

Affected to a great depth by the dream psychologically, Rani immediately purchased the land adjoining the Ganges from a Mr. Hasti, and responsively began construction of the temple. It took 8 years for the temple construction to end and an estimated 9 lakhs was the total expenditure borne. The temple, built in conventional Nava-Ratna style, measuring 46 feet square and rising over hundred feet high is a large elongated building standing on a high platform with a flight of stairs. It is one of the largest temples of kolkatha and a true architectural masterpiece.

The temple has a lot of mysticism colligated with it. The great Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was so immersed in veneration that he would be lost in his spiritual trance becoming totally unconscious of the external world (material world). It is these trances that attract a large number of pilgrims not only from India but all around the world. He was a great spiritual preacher who was considered an incarnation of god by many of his disciples, and is considered as such by many of his devotees today.

The temple and its adjoining areas stand on 25 acres of land. The Ganga River flows beside the temple with immense tranquility. To the east it houses twelve Shiv temples. To the north is a Radha-Krishna temple. There is a sort of courtyard behind the Shiv temple. Here stands the main temple where everyday, the Goddess Kali is worshipped with ceremonial elegance and splendor which can be characterized by a characterized by strong enthusiasm and devotion. There is a long spacious dancing hall in front of the temple, where the goddess Kali stands on the chest of lord Shiv with her splendor and glory. The whole ambience of this temple with the arboreta is extremely ethereal.

Even now, we get the blessings of Maa-Kali (mother Kali) from Dakshineshwar for any distress of life, any problem of mental agonies and anxieties or for any family criticalities to get peaceful solutions and successful achievements in fulfilling the prayers by the touch of her auspicious Nirmalya and Pujas (ceremonies) with pure heart. It is a must visit attraction for anyone who visits Kolkatha. Even if one is an atheist the devotional ambience that surrounds this place truly touches one’s heart.

Ritu Naiya

portable nebulizer

Ritu Naiya asked:

The most annoying thing is to see a bump on the nose or face in the morning when we have to go out for a party in the evening. I think it’ll be voted as the most efficient depressing agent. A single pimple is enough to ruin the felicity of any occasion. Pimples have been the all-time problem of adolescent, teenager, and even adults. And though pimples are only temporary, the mere sight of them scattered all over your face is really unpleasant.

I have been a victim of this malicious problem for quite some time. Doctors attribute most of it to the hormonal combat that goes on inside us. Friends are forever our personal doctors and come up with several curing techniques.

My grandmother’s kitchen however, which turned into a temporary acne testing laboratory was really effective in reducing the onslaught of those evil pink bumps. I remember she enjoyed preparing weird pastes and powders and applied on my pimples. Making awful concoctions and making me drink them. Yeeewwww!!!

There are several easy to follow steps, procedures, and ways to get rid of pimples courtesy of the product available at your home. (Thanks granny)

1) One of the best and certainly a very effective product to eliminate pimples is garlic. Garlic contains antibiotic properties that are proven safe and effective in treating pimples as well as acne. To use it: get whole garlic, mash it and apply it on the face with extra caution on the area rear the eyes. Let the garlic take effect for 10-15 minutes. Then wash it off with warm cloth.

2) Combine cinnamon powder with honey and form it into paste. Right before sleeping, apply the mixture to your face and wash it the next morning. Do this every night for about 2 weeks and you will no longer worry about pimples.

3) Potatoes grated and applied on affected area can cure pimples. It is also effective on curing boils, whiteheads, blackheads, and other skin blemishes.

4) Press ice over the swollen pimple. If you have popped a pimple, do not forget to press ice and splash some astringent.

5) Prepare a mixture of apple pulp and honey. Apply this mixture on face and let it stay for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. It is good for getting rid of pimples.

6) Apply mixture of honey and lemon juice drops to the affected area. It not only reduces it but also lightens the marks left behind to give a shiny and clear skin.

Even if you are using treatment there are a few essential facets u need to keep in mind. The most important thing being all chemicals have their own choice of side effects. Bleaching of the skin or excessive intake of vitamin E may be detrimental to a certain extent.

Topical creams and lotions must be applied to the whole face and not just as a spot treatment for zits. Apart from cleaning out the pores, the job of these medications is to reduce the amount of sebum that glands in the skin produce. It is hence a must to apply it to the whole affected area. Both over-the-counter products and prescribed medications work to preventive acne by killing bacteria. So, all such topical solutions are not just a cure for acne but a preventive measure for future outbreaks. However it is important to apply the recommended dose only. Over application may worsen the condition.

One very important aspect is that You MUST Love Your Own Skin. Whether it’s full of pimples or acne or scars or anything. Just love and don’t be shy or get irritated because of your skin. In my view stress free and laugh filled life is the actual remedy for many problems including pimples too.

Ritu Naiya

portable nebulizer

Ritu Naiya asked:

Discovered in China, tea has exerted a profound influence on societies and cultures throughout the world. The tea story begins in China around 5,000 years ago. the legendary Emperor of China and inventor of agriculture and Chinese medicine was drinking a bowl of boiling water some time around 2737 BC when a few leaves were blown from a nearby tree into his water, changing the color. As a scientist, the emperor became intrigued by the liquid, drank some, and found it very appetizing and was pleasantly surprised by its flavor and restorative properties. He immediately gave the command that tea bushes to be planted in the gardens of his palace.

Thus the custom of brewing fresh tea leaves in hot water began and it quickly spread. After the creation of tea, consumption spread throughout the Chinese culture. In 800 A.D. Lu Yu wrote the first book on tea, the Cha Ching. His work was so explicit and complete that it projected him into near sainthood within his own lifetime. Tea production in China, historically, was a laborious process, conducted in distant and often poorly accessible regions. This led to the rise of many apocryphal stories and legends surrounding the harvesting process.

Until the fifth century A.D., tea was primarily used as a remedy, due to the medicinal benefits attributed to it. From this time onwards, China’s upper class adopted the fashion of presenting packages of tea as highly esteemed gifts and of enjoying drinking tea at social events and in private homes. At around the same time the Chinese tea ceremony began to develop and the tidings of tea began to spread as it reached Japan.

Advent of tea in the west

Tea arrived in Europe via Dutch and Portuguese sailors at the beginning of the 17th century. The tea trade was a significant factor in establishing connections between east and west. In China, tea leaves were used as a substitute for coins. In Europe, tea was used as a symbol of high status and as a stimulus for many technological developments. The locals had to make do with tea dust to make their brew. Finding the flavor strong, they experimented with milk and spices, sugar etc. thus their was a whole new evolution to the methodology adopted for the preparation of tea

At the beginning of the 18th century, tea arrived in Northern America, quickly becoming a desirable drink there as well. However the British later levied taxes on the tea commodities which greatly angered the general public. They exposed their frustration in the form of demonstrations and boycott movements that denied the ships carrying the tea items unload. One famous case was that which occurred in Boston, where a group of locals boarded one of the cargo ships and threw all their shipments into the sea. This famous occurrence in this regard was named the “Boston Tea Party”

A significant rise in tea consumption resulted from the appearance of tea bags at the beginning of the 20th century. With the various varieties of tea discovered, it is only but obvious that the entire world delves itself in the rich aroma of the brew. During the 20th century, the source of tea crops spread throughout the world, from Japan to Africa and South America. Towards the end of the 20th century, an additional rise in the western world’s tea consumption occurred and also in evidence was a demand for quality teas.

India, which is the largest producer of tea (off late, its position has been displaced by china) did not drink tea for pleasure till the British introduced the culture. It was primarily considered a medicinal herb and with the British establishing tea plantations along the borders of Assam, the tea culture was thereby introduced in India.

Whatever be the origin, tea has now spread across classes and ethnicity to every of the world and continues to evolve even as you read this.

ritu naiya

portable nebulizer

James Westt asked:

Succeeding at job interviews and getting the job you want depends, in large part, on your having the right approach. You need a well-thought-out, coherent strategy that will guide your behavior at interviews, no matter what type of interview you are facing.

One of the keys to acing job interviews is to adopt the attitude that you are an equal participant in the process. The interviewers are judging you and your accomplishments, but you are judging them and the organization as well. You must ensure that there is a reasonable balance of power between you and the interviewers during and after an interview.

Here is a list of ten things you should do to significantly enhance your chances of success in getting the job you want.

#1. Ensure that you conduct good pre-interview research on the company or organization you are targeting. Ideally, this should be done before you ever establish any contact with the company — after all, you want to be sure that you only target those organizations that have some kind of fit between your career goals and what they can offer.

#2. Your mindset is critically important in interviews and in life. You must develop an attitude of self-trust and confidence to succeed at any endeavor. As stated above, be aware of the power you have in an interview situation and exercise some of that power to steer the outcome of the meeting.

#3. Make a written list of your accomplishments. Elaborate on them. Make lists of your biggest strengths and write down experiences from the workplace (or other experiences, if appropriate) that brought out each of the strengths. Basically, you want to be able to demonstrate to the interviewers, using concrete examples, that you have the track record it takes to do well at the job you are targeting.

#4. If there are negatives in your background (and most people have at least some negatives), be honest about them, but put a positive spin on them. You may need to think this through carefully and take the help of friends and trusted colleagues to do this.

#5. Dress appropriately for the job interview. What is appropriate depends on the kind of job you are applying for and the company’s practices. Your pre-interview research should give you clues to this.

#6. If there are gaps in your communication abilities — written or oral — get whatever help you need to address it. There are classes that help you develop fluency, for example. There are people who can train you in using language properly.

#7. Get your act together. Make sure you are well-organized and punctual in everything you do. If you have been asked to fax transcripts, for example, do so promptly.

#8. Energy and enthusiasm are highly contagious. Project liberal doses of both during your meetings with prospective employers.

#9. Listen carefully to what the interviewers are saying. Pay attention not only to what they say, but to their body language as well. This will allow you to answer questions and in general, project yourself in the best possible manner during job interviews. There is nothing worse than enthusiastically answering a question — and then discovering that the interviewer had asked something quite different!

#10. After the interview is over, follow up persistently but politely. Don’t just passively wait to hear from them.

Use these ten job interview tips and land the job of your dreams!

portable nebulizer

Ritu Naiya asked:

“Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion. It is the most valuable inheritance of present. It is the essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow.”

- Swami Satyananda Saraswati

Yoga is just not a simple set of exercises, but a total way of living for millions in the eastern world.

The word yoga means unity or oneness and derived from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means to join. It refers to the union of the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. It teaches that a whole man consists equally of body, mind and spirit, all three of which must be fully developed before an individual can realize his full potential.

The modern civilized individual is educated and informed like never before. It is virtually impossible that an individual today is unaware of the environment that he has created for himself which is the path leading to self destruction. The process of destruction has already begun not with the bang of an atom bomb, but the whimper of a patient in the hospital bed. For every one who falls prey to any disease there are 5 who lie in regretful knowledge that if only they had changed their lifestyle, eating habits and avoided tensions this would not have happened to them. This is where yoga comes in. It not a wonder medicine or an activity that can revolutionize the world. It just helps to cope with the life inside you with a fitter body and a finer mind.

One need not completely subscribe to the yoga philosophy or the yoga way of life to enjoy its benefits. In this rapidly changing world, there are so many tension induced problems that by the time a person reaches 45, he finds it increasingly difficult to concentrate on his health as there are so many tiny miny tribulations that refuse to either get resolved or leave the mind. This obviously is no better way of life and definitely doesn’t seem to improve.

Physical and mental cleansing and strengthening is one of the most important achievements of yoga. According to medical experts what made yoga therapy so successful is the balance created in the nervous and endocrine systems that directly influences all other organs and processes of the body. They help experience an overwhelming sense of well being that is so necessary in today’s stressful environment. Asanas help remove physical discomfort whereas breathing and relaxation techniques help maximize efficiency.

In this 21st century where mobiles, TV, cars and phones seem to be our only companions, yoga helps not only manifest internal harmony but also makes great personal sense. A set of exercises it may be, but it requires very little contribution from one’s side. No large gym machines, no dumbbells etc. it is simply a set of simple breathing and relaxation techniques that gives either direct and tangible benefits to everyone regardless of their spiritual aim.

portable nebulizer

Some Electrical Appliance require AC (Alternating Current) High Power source (110VAC for European and Western Country, 220VAC Asia and Middle East County)

Some Of The Uses Of Power Inverters:

Camping with your rover RV’s at parks that do not provide electricity, TV, toaster, Blender, Refrigeration unit For your Food and Beer, Needs a AC power Source.

Emergency Units, For medical equipment, blood pressure cuff or oxygen monitor, Examination rooms may also have medical equipment such as digital thermometers and nebulizer machines, Mostly Found on a Ambulance.

A blackout or power failure, just plug the power inverter in your vehicle start the motor and it can run a radio to tune into important alerts, watch TV, play video Games, Run Your PC.

Some custom vehicle are featured on MTV Pimp My RIDE (Xzibit and the good people at West Coast Customs make people’s cars go from dirt to pimped in this 30 minute show that airs weekly on MTV.)

They make your car a luxury vehicle, some of the gadget found on the car are TV set, DVD player, a Desktop PC, Xbox, Sony Play Station, Sega Dream Cast, A Refrigeration Unit and even a sing along System.

All of the thing Mention Above need a AC power line, Since the Vehicle only Provide a 12VDC to 24VD Maximum voltage Source, you Need To provide a AC power source, and the only Reliable and Most compact ways to Implement this kind of Sophistication Is a Power Inverter.

Plugging Your Inverter To A Cigarette Lighter on the dashboard and there’s your standard power source.

How to Choose a Good Power Inverter

Has About Efficiency of 90% Power output ÷ Power input x 100% Has A Temperature and overload protection. Battery over-voltage and under-voltage protection. With Cooling Fan. Portable Totally Silent Operation Low Maintenance Regulated Output To Protect Sensitive Equipment Pure Sine Wave Output produces a better and cleaner current. Modified Sine Wave – Phase Corrected Output Economical Power inverters doesn’t have to be expensive as long as it is safe and efficient to use. Choosing the best quality but inexpensive power inverter products would be a wise move for buyers.

Choosing The Power Inverter That Matches Your Needs:

As the title suggest is pretty much self-explanatory. Choosing the right power inverter that matches what you need is possibly one of the most important thing that you have to do first before buying anything in you typical electronic store or your favorite online electronic shop.

Example:

TV that Have 75 watts require a 100 watts Power inverter

400 watts Toaster Require at least 500 watts Power inverter

DVD Player Require 100 watts Power inverter.

The bottom line is as long as it is not overloaded the maximum power level it is safe to use.

Do’s and Dont’s :

Don’t put your Power inverter to wet Surfaces. Put your Power inverters to stable Position, Vibration will Shake the Component of your Power inverter and eventually malfunction due Component Brake down. Use Standard and insulated Wires in Wiring your Power inverter, poor Wiring may lead to Short Circuit and can Cause Fire. Over Loading The power inverter (maximum power limits)

Example:

Do not Plug a 1500 watts Appliances to a 1000 Watts Power Inverter.

portable nebulizer

Blake Quintero asked:

Pain, be it a simple headache or a complicated stage of rheumatic arthritis, only a person who has undergone or is experiencing the same can define how annoying it can be. In their attempts to assuage or completely do away with the pain, it is those unsafe non-therapeutic measures that people try their luck in, which more often do harm than good. Effective pain management is the only solution that can help you with proper and longtime relief and this can be done only if the cause of the pain is identified and treated well.

What is Pain Management?

Pain can be induced in human body due to reasons, both internal and external, and knowing how to manage the pain is the way to keep ones mental and physical balance right. Tablets and injections may play their role, however for a shorter period, but if what you are looking for is longtime pain relief then proper practice and awareness of pain management is considered necessary.

How is an Effective Pain Treatment Given?

As it is said, a disease can be cured only if the disease is rightly diagnosed and the treatment is given accordingly. The case is something similar with effective pain management also. For the treatment to show its affect certain aspects related to the pain need to be closely followed, say,

The history of pain – for how long a person has been suffering from a type of pains or how old is the case The intensity – how bad is the pain when it hits you The duration – how long does the pain last when it hits you Place – where does the pain occur and The aggravating and alleviating conditions of the pain etc.

Pain management, in fact, has its part in recognizing the exact cause of the hitch and then segregating the source to treat it. So once you are able to find an answer to the aforementioned questions, you are already half way through your effective pain management process.

Different Techniques for Pain Management

Available in a number of types, sizes and brands, these days there are numerous products for managing pain that assure you utmost relaxation from even the worst of all pains. From treating normal pain symptoms to dealing with long-term or chronic problems like knee pain, arthritis, diabetes nerve pain, psoriasis etc today with effective pain management techniques and products there is nothing that is left untreated.

portable nebulizer

Ritu Naiya asked:

India is a land of tea-holics. Having tea is a kind of ritual in India! Chai, what tea is more informally known, has evolved from a common man’s beverage to a whole new way of life for today’s young and old. Great Chai can often be found in Indian restaurants along with great food. It is reflective of the cultures and values of the people and is very much an integral part of the sub continent.

Chai is a tea based beverage that came about the turn of the century when drinking tea was considered an elite affair. It is a centuries-old beverage which has played an important role in many cultures. Finding the initial flavor strong, the beverage was experimented with by adding milk, spices, sugar etc… and thus Chai was born.

Chai from India is a spiced milk tea that has become increasingly popular throughout the world. Chai has no rules. You can make it the way you like. Drink it the way you like. Even drink it whenever you like. It’s got no stiff upper lip rituals and spares you the embarrassment of not knowing the difference between mocha and a macchiato.

Tea had been known for millennia in India as a medicinal plant, traded with the Chinese for spices, but was not drunk for pleasure until the British began to establish plantations in the 19th century.

In 1824 tea plants were discovered in the hills along the frontier between Burma and the Indian state of Assam. The British introduced tea culture into India in 1836. At first they used seeds from China, but later seeds from the Assam plant were used. Only black tea was produced until recent decades.

Many industry analysts are predicting that Chai will eventually become as popular and common as coffee lattes and cappuccinos. India was the top producer of tea for nearly a century, but was displaced by China as the top tea producer in the 21st century. While India is the largest consumer of tea worldwide, the per-capita consumption of tea in India remains a modest 750 grams per person every year.

In the past three years we’ve seen a phenomenal growth in the popularity and interest in Chai. Chai has become very common at over-the-counter specialty beverage shops and there is a growing line of prepackaged consumer products. There are a number of foreign brands such as those of Tetley and tycoon that along with Indian enterprises have created powerful position in the tea bazaar.

Chai is spreading across classes and has been constantly evolving. The flavor of Chai may change from one region to another, but the ease at which it brings people together never will. It is enjoyed by all classes alike. The warmth and casualness that is associated with this beverage is what makes it so exceptional.

ritu naiya

portable nebulizer

Ritu Naiya asked:

’’The smiles of my brothers in the city of joy are lights that will never be extinguished in me’’. The story is set in the in the most ill-famed slum of Calcutta, India – AnandNagar, i.e. “city of joy”. Although the book is not a reality novel, it is not a documentary-style book also, but a little of both. It is the world of the poorest of all: rickshaw pullers, lepers turned beggars, scrap collecting kids, suffocating sweat-shop workers and slum mafia.

The story is about human beings who live in abject penury, suffering from a scourge of diseases, hunger, malnutrition, eunuchs, and above all, it’s about existence. The protagonist of the novel is Hasari Pal, a peasant who along with his family comes to dingy streets of Calcutta for a living. He gets the job of a rickshaw puller and lives in a place full of filth, squalor, lepers, excreta and sadness. The plot revolves around AnandNagar, which is a leper colony in the city of Calcutta.

The story has two protagonists to be precise. Hasari Pal, the rickshaw puller and Stephen Kowalski, a monk who lets off his life in the west to render his services to the rejected class of the society- the Lepers. Along its pages, we will see Hasari Pal who though vomits blood and tries camouflaging it by chewing paan, ends up making a gruesome sacrifice to secure his daughter’s dowry, “Stephan dada”, the polish priest who in his strive to get closer to God decides to share the faith of the poorest of this world. Another person, Doctor Max Loeb, the American rich boy who also voluntarily plunges into this poverty stricken world, dedicates his life for the well being of the wretched beings. This part of the story actually shows the dark side of life and the chaotic weather it can bring along.

There are many instances here that can move one to tears. Not those that are caused by heart breaking incident, but those that symbolize the pain that one can physically feel. But more than the characters it is the situations and realities of extremes that make the City Of Joy exemplary. But AnandNagar (meaning city of joy) is not in a state of dystopia after all. One can sense the joy and fervor in the way people celebrate festivals, weddings and other events. There are happy endings, singular as they might be celebrations, joy, smiles, and happiness. They are all not conditional. Hence it’s not surprising that the lepers of AnandNagar find horrific sacrifices made in the name of duty, there are festivals, dirt and utmost cleanliness, Gods and superstitions in their very own filthy shack, which is manifested with cockroaches, lizards, excreta, disease and death. The narration is fantastic and it personifies a lot of human emotions that one normally doesn’t have to experience everyday. The love emanating from the book warms one heart and successfully preaches the concept of humanity in a very subtle manner

The book teaches the value of human morale and how love can unveil the light that lies beneath the layers of darkness. It is a living example of hope, faith, pain and perseverance. It talks about belief and anticipation even in the unimaginable lows of one’s time. It takes out the sensitivity in one and all. A must read for one and all, even those who consider themselves the pinnacle of practicality. City of joy is a book that teaches one to smile even in the most testing of times making the reader wish that this spring of joy would last a little longer.

portable nebulizer
