Ultrasonic Nebulizer Array 3000mL per hour Cold Fog Generator WATER BURNS

fastimports3 asked:

Observed the properties of the water beginning to shift into the flammable state. This is due to particle oscillation the water is being subjected to by the ultrasonic unit. Water acts as catalyst at this stage. The amplitude of the radiating wave is directly proportional to the electrical energy that is applied to the transducer. In order for cavitation to be produced in a liquid medium, the amplitude of the radiating wave must have a certain minimum value, which is usually rated in terms of electrical input power to the transducer. No cavitation can occur below this threshold value, and the use of electrical power over and above the minimum level results not in more intense cavitation activity but rather in an increase in the overall quantity of cavitation bubbles. The minimum power requirement for the production of cavitation varies greatly with the colligative properties and temperature of the liquid and with the nature and concentration of dissolved substances. CAVITATION If a sound wave is impressed upon a liquid and the intensity is increased, a point will be reached where cavitation occurs. Cavitation is the formation of a gas bubble in the liquid during the rarefaction cycle. When the compression cycle occurs the gas bubble collapses. During the collapse tremendous pressures are produced. The pressure may be of the order of several thousand atmospheres. Thousands of these small bubbles are formed in a small volume of the liquid. It is quite generally agreed that

How to Boost Your Immune System and Prevent the Flu in 3 Easy Steps

Henri K. Junttila asked:

It’s that time of year where everyone seems to be getting sick. On top of that, allergies, infections and even diabetes are spreading rapidly. More and more people are realizing that they aren’t as healthy as they thought.

Learning how to boost your immune system and prevent the flu naturally is something that everyone should know how to do. It all comes down to lifestyle and not settling for what the marketers and advertisers are trying to sell you.

You see, a lot of the processed food companies make a lot of money, but there aren’t much money to be made on selling fruits and vegetables, which are the healthiest foods you can eat to improve your immune system and health. That brings me to the 3 easy steps you can use to improve your immune system. Enjoy!

1. Fruits and Vegetables are easily digested, absorbed and utilized by your body. This means little energy goes into digesting them and getting rid of the waste they produce, because they produce little to no waste, compared to fast foods, processed foods and so on. They are also full of nutrients that improve your immune system and health.

2. De-Stressing is essential if you want to stay healthy and avoid the flu, because stress can contribute to weight-gain and even a lowered immune system. Relaxation can be done in a variety of forms, but the best way is internally. Learn how to do yoga, meditate or even take walks in nature.

3. Nutrition is last but definitely not least. Our diet can no longer give us the nutrients that we need, so we need to use multivitamin supplements to fill the gaps. The best multivitamin is natural and contains high quality, proven ingredients.

A Guide To Ultrasonic

Kent Pinkerton asked:

Ultrasonic generally refers to acoustic frequencies above twenty thousand hertz, which is the upper limit of human hearing range. These frequencies are however audible to certain animals such as mice, bats, dolphins, and dogs that have a higher hearing range as compared to humans. The human inability to hear ultrasonic sound waves is caused by the middle ear that acts as a low-pass filter.

Humans would have been able to perceive ultrasonic sound waves if these waves could somehow be directed into the skull bone to reach the cochlea without passing through the middle ear. Deep-sea divers who are exposed to high frequency sonar signals above fifty thousand hertz sometimes experience this effect known as ultrasound hearing.

Ultrasonic sound waves form a part of many devices used in industrial and medical sectors. The most commonly used device is an ultrasound machine that is used in the treatment of benign and malignant tumors via a process known as ultrasound surgery (FUS) or high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). Medical research conducted to study the effects of ultrasonic waves on the human body suggests that the waves have the ability to stimulate bone-growth and has the potential to disrupt the blood-brain barrier for drug delivery.

Industrial devices also use ultrasonic sound waves to locate microscopic flaws in materials such as metal parts and plastics. Ultrasonic frequencies used in these devices usually range from two to ten mega hertz. Ultrasonic sound waves used in cleaning devices are usually in the range of twenty to forty kilohertz. These are generally used for cleaning jewelry, optical parts, watches, dental instruments, and surgical instruments.

Advanced research work is currently underway to develop a system for producing a phenomenon called sonoluminescence that has the potential to enable nuclear fusion reaction. This will provide a safe and cheap means of producing electricity and will help in solving energy problems faced by countries worldwide.

Deep Breathing – Why is it Important and What Does it Do?

Nino Kalaj asked:

Deep breathing: The ultimate training regimen for fitness, tranquility, and over all good health. This is one of the most over looked training methods of today’s time.

Firming and toning you naturally from your core. Working out ward from head to toe. From the experience of this author, deep breathing is the ultimate exercise!

Deep breathing exercises have been around for well over 2500 years. Taoist Masters have been documented as to have reached ages modern man to this day can not fathom. Able to accomplish amazing feats of strength and stamina that can only be classified as super human.

I was diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever (a heart condition) at an early age. This condition limited me in ways of fitness conditioning and retaining a physically strenuous job. Deep breathing helped me make a 360 turn in my daily life.

After practicing this twice a day (75 deep breaths in the morning after I woke, & 75 deep breaths just before bed) for 6 months, my stamina, lung capacity, and heart rate was compared to an Olympic marathon runner. The physician would have never guessed that I ever had rheumatic fever. My whole life changed as I was now able to train for hours at a time & run up mountains while shouldering a heavy log for many miles.

A student of mine had Asama and had to use a prescription breather. He always woke fatigued. After teaching him basic deep breathing, within a week he woke more energized. After 90 days he no longer needed his inhaler.

There are many types of deep breathing exercises. The most important parts of deep breathing has to be regulating your breaths three to four seconds in, and three to four seconds out. Along with being rhythmic with your breathing.

For someone who is just beginning, try doing a relaxing deep breathing exercises, and focus on regulating your breathing, keeping a slow & steady, rhythmic pace. You will come to love the results. For the more advanced student that seeks more intense exercises, try tension breathing. This will push you to your limits.

I teach these methods to all of my students (MMA martial artists, combat vets, senior citizens, and kids 4 to 94) because of the ultimate benefits it has to offer.

In Good Health – Is Laughter Really the Best Medicine?

Phil Wazny, NMD asked:

When you laugh out loud, you might notice a slight improvement in the way you feel. Why is that? Sure you feel good, but is there science behind the effects of laughter? Is laughter really the best medicine?

The Study of Humor

There are numerous well-designed studies suggesting that not only can humor improve your mood, but it can potentially prevent illness. From Sigmund Freud’s 1905 book, The Joke and Its Relation to the Unconscious, to the currently three bimonthly medical journals dedicated to “health and humor”, the science of humor is no laughing matter. In fact, just try and sit down to read a few of these articles or Freud’s book, not only will you not be laughing, but you’ll more than likely be bored to tears.

It’s amazing how many people have been looking at the science behind humor and how serious they take the endeavor. From all their hard work and theorizing on why we laugh and for what purpose, there are now some generally well-accepted answers. The Pattern Recognition Theory explains that humor occurs when the brain recognizes a pattern that surprises it, and that this recognition is rewarded with the experience of laughter. A perfect example is playing the game of peek-a-boo with a baby. This simple game gets any baby cracking up laughing, which in turn makes you smile and laugh. And if you don’t have a baby to play peek a boo with, just imagine the sight and sounds of a laughing baby… bet you at least start to smile a little.

As your language skills develop you begin to get a handle on linguistic humor, which obviously becomes more sophisticated than peek-a-boo. This is when our differences in finding what is humorous changes. Because we all develop in very different settings, the context in which you are surrounded causes you to recognize different patterns and therefore find different stories, events, and actions funny or not. More simply put, your age, along with where and how you grew up, are the major factors for determining what is humorous to you individually.

Another theory, The Superiority Theory, says we laugh at someone else’s mistakes that gives us a sense of superiority and creates some separation from the situation so we can laugh at it. A master of this type of humor is Jim Carey from the famed movies such as “Dumb and Dumber” and “Ace Ventura.” These movies are perfect examples of how outlandish buffoonery can make us laugh because most of us do not live such unpredictable lifestyles.

Take Two Jokes and Call Me in the Morning

Surely you’ve heard the old adage, “laughter is the best medicine”, and that is quite true. Physiologically when you laugh your blood pressure drops, there is greater blood flow throughout your bodies, stress hormones drop and the biological fight-or-flight response is inhibited. This allows you to relax, more easily solve problems, and relate to others or socially connect. Studies have also showed that you are 30 times more likely to laugh within a group than when alone, that on average most people laugh 18 times a day, and laughing contracts 15 different facial muscles.

And, if you’re looking to keep in good shape this year, you’ll be pleased to know that laughing actually burns calories! In fact, if you’re able to laugh 100 times a day you will burn the same amount of calories as riding a bicycle for 15 minutes! In addition to the facial muscle contractions, during a bout of strong belly laughing, you know, the kind that really gets you rolling, you move your abdominal, respiratory, leg and back muscles-a total body workout!

The most impressive effect laughter can have on the body is an improved immune system. Laughing can dramatic improve the effectiveness of our natural killer cells, which specifically target cancer cells and viruses. Laughter also appears to regulate the number of T- and B-cells, which are disease-fighting antibodies.

In a recent study of 100 centenarians it comes as no surprise that daily laughter was found to be “very important” for healthy aging. So make it a point to laugh out loud each and every day! If you do, you’ll be well on your way to being the happiest and healthiest you can possibly be.

The Basics of Nebulizer Usage

Blake Quintero asked:

Individuals who have relatives with asthma or those who have developed adult asthma may have the need to learn how to use a nebulizer. Nebulizers are apparatuses that facilitate better inhalation of medicine that are meant to relieve respiratory diseases e.g. asthma, pulmonary disease, etc. Though there are inhalers that seem to be more convenient, there are important reasons why some people respond better to nebulizers, for example, infants and old people need nebulizers since they may not be able to use inhalers effectively on their own.

A nebulizer is a device that is composed of a compressed source of air connected to a cup-like instrument through tubes wherein the medicine is poured into. The cup, by the way, is attached to a mouthpiece into which the asthma patient breathes into. The nebulizer will then change the medicine into mist form that in turn travels deeper into the patient’s airways, thus, providing comfort to breathing problems.

Aside from understanding how nebulizers work, knowing the types of nebulizers is also an important aspect to learn if you really want to find out how to use a nebulizer. There is the so called ultrasonic nebulizer and the compressor nebulizer. Though both types have the same effect, the ultrasonic nebulizer is said to work faster and more efficiently as it is able to produce finer mists. This is because ultrasonic nebulizers make use of vibrations for conversion of the medicine while compressor nebulizers utilize compressed air.

Below are the usual steps on how to use a nebulizer that will surely be helpful for first time asthma patients or for people who have loved ones with asthma:

The very first thing you have to do when using a nebulizer is to add the doctor recommended amount of liquid medicine into the cup that is part of the nebulizer. Take note that the medicine should be poured in only during the time of the attack and not prior – in other words, it is not good to stock the medicine into the cup prior to actual usage. In the event that more than one liquid medicine is required, confirm with the doctor first if those should be given separately or if both medicines can be mixed and taken as one. After pouring the medicine into the cup, the next step of how to use a nebulizer is to cover the cup and then attach its tube to the compressor. Once done, turn on the compressor, then as soon as you see a mist coming out of the mouthpiece, let the patient inhale it. Instruct the patient to breathe deeply to be able to properly inhale all vapors.

Remember that it usually take ten minutes up to twenty minutes for the patient to experience ease from their breathing difficulties. It is also required that you ensure that the nebulizer and all its parts are properly sterilized prior to usage to prevent bacterial contamination which may make the patient’s condition worse. Aside from knowing all about the steps on how to use a nebulizer, you should also be aware that side effects like faster heartbeats and jitters may be experienced after using a nebulizer.

Food and Colors – Color Your Meals to Better Feed Your Body and Soul

Alessandra Viero asked:

How food tastes is of course the most important element in a pleasant meal, but also how it looks is essential.

People have understood and appreciated food appearance since ancient times, and all great chefs are extremely careful when it comes to the presentation of their signature dishes. They are in fact perfectly conscious that a good looking meal is not only appealing to the eye, it also triggers positive feelings and sensations. This way, eating becomes nourishment both for our body and our spirit.

In this, colors definitely play a fundamental role.

What is even more interesting is that the colors people tend to prefer, for their psychological implications, when choosing particular foods, correspond to properties that benefit our body. It’s as if Nature wanted to gently “bribe” and guide us towards what is best for us.

Studies prove that eating a good variety of naturally colored, unprocessed foods in our meals is the best and most tasteful diet to keep fit and prevent diseases of any kind. At the same time, you can transform your meals into sort of easy and yummy color therapy (chromotherapy) treatments.

It is in fact possible to absorb the positive energy of colors through food. You may have noticed that when you are tired and exhausted you feel like eating something red, orange or yellow… or that when we need to detoxify our body we naturally choose green vegetables, and so on…

Once again, it’s a matter of using your instinct to keep healthy. Prepare your meals with fresh, whole food, taking advantage of these amazing properties. Drink clean spring water, move, find some time to take care of yourself and those your love… All aspects of your life will soon improve.

Below are some simple rules you can use as basic guidelines to eat better while definitely enjoying that.

- WHITE FOODS. White (or nearly white) vegetables contain quercetin, an antioxidant that protects us from cancer and protects also lungs and bones. They are usually also high in precious minerals such as potassium and selenium. They help preventing high blood pressure, blood clots and premature aging.

White is a symbol of light and at the same time of solemnity and simplicity. It represent plain but precious nourishment for body and soul. Good and appreciated white foods are for instance onions, garlic, cauliflowers, milk and rice.

- RED FOODS. Red fruits and vegetables have antioxidant properties and help preventing cancer and heart diseases. They also help fight atherosclerosis and protect eyesight. They are the highest in vitamin C. Thus they favor the production of collagen, the main protein in connective tissue. They protect blood vessels, support the immune system and help wounds healing. Good quality (possibly organic and free-ranged) red meat provides essential proteins and precious B-Group vitamins.

Red is hot, exciting, the symbol of fire and blood. Red foods make us feel stronger and renew our vital energy. Red seems to stimulate appetite and help digestion. Some of the best red foods are for instance organic free-ranged red meat (just for non-vegetarians of course), strawberries, ripe tomatoes, red wine, salmon, plums, cherries, watermelon, red peppers, chili, red apples, Cayenne pepper, red kale.

- YELLOW and ORANGE FOODS. Thanks to flavonoids and anthocyanin, they help prevent cancer, heart diseases, blood clotting and aging. Furthermore, they contain carotenoids, that contrast free radicals and are precursors of vitamin A, essential to healthy skin, growth, the eyesight and the immune system.

Yellow and orange recall the brightness of sun and gold. They improve our mood, bring joy, enthusiasm, optimism, and help us detoxify. Some great yellow and orange foods are: pumpkin, carrots, oranges, tangerines, apricots, mango, papaya, peaches, egg yolk, potatoes, lemons, pineapple, bananas, yellow plums, extra virgin olive oil, wheat, corn.

- GREEN FOODS. Chlorophyll provides the nice green color, and is as well a powerful antioxidant. Green foods, like yellow and orange ones, contain carotenoids. They are particularly rich in magnesium, which supports carbohydrates and proteins assimilation, facilitates the absorption of calcium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium, and is indispensable to the functioning of the nervous system. Green-leaf vegetables are rich in folic acid. Studies have shown that women who get enough folic acid prior to conception and during early pregnancy dramatically reduce the risk that their baby will be born with a serious neural tube defect (a birth defect involving incomplete development of the brain and spinal cord).

Green is the color of Nature, Spring, rebirth and hope. It seems to contrast the tendency to eat too fast and voraciously and to slow down food assimilation. All dark-green, leafy vegetables are an example of amazing green foods.

- BLUE and PURPLE FOODS. Also many blue and purple foods protect from cancer and heart diseases. In addition, they support the functioning of urinary apparatus, blood circulation and vessels. Many blue/purple foods also prevent the degeneration of the nervous system and the skin.

Blue has a calming and refreshing effect on us. Purple helps us think better and focus, especially when higher mental faculties are involved. To get all these benefits you can eat for instance: grapes, prunes, blackberries, blueberries, some types of violet asparagus and broccoli, eggplant, blackcurrant, blue and purple potatoes.

"Life" – The Benefits of Healthy Living!

Phillip Joyce asked:

If you want to live a little bit longer and look good in the process then get up off the couch and do something about it. Start living life again.

Still skeptical? Read these few benefits of what healthy living has to offer, then let me know how you feel then.

1. By eating the right foods and keeping you body in shape will result in having more energy which will result in performing your job better and having the energy to do more of the activities you love. You will be more capable and more independent. Also you come across more sociable, positive, and charming.

2. Most people who live a healthy life are younger looking and more happier than those who smoke and drink in excess. The chemical in smoke and in alcohol dry up the skin and create a much older appearance plus chemicals in the body deprive you of the vitamins and nutrition’s that keep the body healthy. As shallow as it is appearance does count a lot in society as well in you self-esteem.

3. Clear thinking is also a benefit of a healthy lifestyle. Is it not true that drugs and alcohol cloud the judgment of people. Thinking clearly, you are able to focus on you job at hand and accomplish much more duties than others. You are much more dependable when given instruction and you memory is much more clear.

4. People also are less likely from getting colds and illness that could cause a slow down in a person achievement level. They are not bother with doctors, appointments, or laying in bed and very rarely miss or take leave of absences from work.

5. Finally, they are emotionally secure. People who live a life style of healthy living are much happier. They are able to enjoy life and not distracted by health problems. They also worry less and deal with stress better. Maybe because they do not have to use chemicals for there problems. We all have the natural ability to live a health and happier life.

Where Does the Energy Go?

Lisa Stokes asked:

So I have been thinking about dreams, as in goals, and energy. Remember as a kid when you had that B.H.A.G of becoming an astronaut, actress or Olympic champion and the hours you spent planning, dreaming, training and reading about them? Remember all that energy that you put into those dreams and the years that you dedicated that amount of energy? Do you remember that all consuming desire to “set the world on fire”? Do you remember the day that you let it go, or did it fade over time?

Given that we are really just a bunch of molecules and energy, do you think that all that energy that previously burnt so brightly is still hanging around somewhere? Maybe when we let it go it transferred to someone else and formed their dreams; maybe these are the people who made it? Maybe it takes a few people to let go of their dreams to create enough energy for one person to make their dreams come true?

So what do you think happens when we let this energy go? Assuming we are still on the planet, and still generating and consuming that same amount of molecules and energy, do we still shine as bright or do we dim over time? Is it normal to accept a lesser dream simply because we age? Is it age or conformity that dims us?

When I look at our society, a community that is eating itself to death and will soon produce the first generation to die before their parents, I wonder about who we are. I am pretty sure most people (and most people are overweight & obese these days) never dreamt of turning into who they are now. I am pretty sure that their dreams as a 10 years old weren’t to be “.. over worked, overweight, over stressed, and unhappy”. Yet, why is this now acceptable, common? When did we let the dreams die, when did we lose all respect for our bodies so that it is now OK to treat it like a toxic waste dump? We tell our kids to “be responsible, get a degree, chase financial goals”…why? so they can turn into a second generation of dimly lit fatties?

I have 2 teenagers entering their last years of high school, and I am going to tell them the same thing my Mum told me. “You can be whatever you want to be”.

For my part, I am going to cast my mind back and find some of that youthful energy that used to dazzle my dreams and make 2009 my best year ever!
